I forgot to say, the NFS team has said that you MUST uninstall any old copies of the Beta before you install the new one to avoid any problems. I didn't the first time, and I got booted out of the server pretty quickly.

I don't know if there's any support but for the beta I had to map my controller/layout with a third party application.  I used x-padder if I'm not mistaken, though its been close to a couple of months since I've done anything beta related so I could be wrong.

There is SOME controller support. The 360 wired controller works great, as do some wheels. But the configuration options are still greyed in the Beta, so if yiu want to remap anything you will have to use xpadder or joy2key or similar.

They are running an OPEN BETA (ANYONE can join) from yesterday until Monday I believe. Anyone willing to give it a try for some fun racing, possibly tonight ? You will need a decent PC and some form of input (360 Wired Controller, Wheel, etc). If you want to grab it head over to world.needforspeed.com...the download will take a bit.

actually a bit of fun . id drop twenty on it . love the pursuits . runs fine when your away from people
get into races it a laggy mess at times . surprisingly g25 and pedals worked . just combined axis .
